ABOUT NEWARRIVAL
We created NewArrival to make life in Ireland easier to understand.
NewArrival was created by Alex and Anastasia. We live in Ireland and know how easy it is to get lost among letters, forms, rules and dozens of different websites when you are building a life in a new country.
Sometimes the problem itself is quite small, but working out where to go, what to fill in and which information to trust becomes much harder than it should be.
That is why NewArrival exists: a place where you can come with an ordinary question, get a clear explanation, check reliable sources and understand what to do next.
WHO IS BEHIND NEWARRIVAL
A family project shaped by our own life in Ireland.
NewArrival family project
NewArrival did not begin inside a large company or a government organisation. It is our family project.
We live and work in Ireland, raise our family here and face many of the same questions that are familiar to people building a life after moving country.
Alex looks after the technical side and product development. Anastasia helps us look at every feature through the eyes of an ordinary person who needs a clear answer, not a complicated portal.
We want to use what we know and what we can build to make at least some parts of life in Ireland a little easier for other people.
WHY WE BUILT IT
A simple question should not turn into hours of searching.
Sometimes all you need is to understand a letter, find the right form, check a rule or work out where to go.
Instead, you can end up opening dozens of pages, trying to understand unfamiliar terminology and wondering which source is actually current.
Sometimes people even pay simply to have information explained that is already officially available.
We believe important practical information should be understandable and accessible.
NewArrival brings the important parts together, explains them in plain language and helps you understand the next step.

NewArrival is not part of the Irish Government or any government organisation.
We are not a legal service or a medical service and we do not try to replace a doctor, lawyer or another qualified professional.
When a question can be answered using reliable official sources, we try to explain what matters in plain language.
If a situation genuinely needs professional help, we will say so clearly.
Our role is not to make decisions for people, but to help them understand their situation and their next step.
